Responsibilities:
- Cashiering: Processing and completing customer transactions on the point-of-sale.
- Assisting customers with locating products in the store.
- Answering phone calls and customer questions.
- Cashiering and handling the fuel pump Sunoco station. This entails running two point-of-sale systems and observing the pumps to ensure there are no issues.
- Check fuel site gauges.
- Fulfilling online orders and third-party platform orders which include; pulling the product, packing/labeling and shipping.
- Stocking: Drink machines, snack aisle, aerosols and front-end bulk inventory.
- Keep your work area tidy.
- Contact customers when pickup orders are ready.
- Handle returns and exchanges.
- Assist customers loading as needed.
- Direct customers to the correct departments and/or specialist in store as needed.
- Day to day responsibilities of the Sales Associate may slightly change depending on the need.
Qualifications/Preferences:
- General familiarity with hardware, machinery or farm equipment is helpful.
- Strong technological aptitude and proficiency in computers, windows desktop and using point of sale systems is required.
- Be able and comfortable handling and processing cash, card and charge sales.
- Willingness to adhere to all policies set forth by Bradshaw Supply and to make this a career that you want to exceed in.
- Forklift certification would be a PLUS but is not required. We offer forklift certification class reimbursement for an employee should the job require it.
- Ability to handle heavy and oily objects. Required
- Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 60Ibs. Required
- Ability to work timely in a fast-paced environment and remain adaptably diligent when you have multiple customers waiting.
- Ability to navigate difficult customer requests, have special attention to details and be a self-starter.
